I'ld retopologize and uvmap the end result in 3dcoat, especially if you're planning on doing a Poser-friendly mecha.

Quick update on my mech. We'll just skip past revisions 1-4, this is revision 5, far from completed. Some of the early version are complete, but, very simplistic. I like how it is shaping up now, however, it will probably look very little like this when completed. I have learned a great deal about Shade while working on this and how to build shapes with curved surfaces. The tutorial has been very helpful at least the parts I've been able to decypher.

Thanks Juan, not exactly in your league yet, but I'm not going for that kind of detailed Mecha either, thank goodness!

Revision 7. Well, I think all the basic design is about done, now comes the refining and detail work. Lots to do yet.
